Elderly Day Care Centres in Buckinghamshire

Board Games at an elderly day care centre in Buckinghamshire

Elderly Day Care Centres in Buckinghamshire provide respite for you, especially if you work in the day, but can also enrich your elderly relatives lives. Socialising and taking part in cognitively stimulating tasks are key benefits from visiting a day care centre.

Board games, card games, singing groups, crafts, knitting, cooking and more can all be offered at centres, in addition to a homely and warm, freshly prepared lunchtime meal.

Sometimes elderly day care centres will provide guests with transport to and from the centre, but you can always look for community transport services in Buckinghamshire if these are not available. If it’s just the hot lunch your relative is after – and who could blame them (!) – it might be worth checking out Age Space’s list of lunch clubs in Buckinghamshire.

If your relative requires more than just a day of care, then you may want to look at other options such as domiciliary care at home.ย  Our Buckinghamshire home care finder allows you to search by postcode.ย  Alternatively, you can take a look at some of the respite care options available in Bucks for short-term overnight stays.
